COLORKER GROUP CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH AN OPEN DAY

Over these 30 years we have accomplished big achievements and developed a lively and exciting project. The occasion deserved it, that is why on 15 October Colorker organised an event enabling its employees to enjoy a family day celebrating this event. The Colorker Group factory, which is considered the first tile maker 4.0 in the world, remained open during the event which welcomed around 800 people who enjoyed the day, which ran from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening.

Colorker is going through a period of expansion turning 30 in an excellent state of health and in better shape than ever. Over the last year, the company´s staff roster has increased to 300 workers, which marks an increase of 18%. “We are going to continue to add talent to our company, and we want to show that Colorker is a great company with a great team, where we continue to grow and commit to personal development at one of the best facilities in the Castellon ceramic sector”, states the company´s director general, Manuel Ángel Murillo. The company´s progress so far this year, has been “very positive”, according to Murillo, who notes that the first three quarters of the year “have witnessed lots of activity, indeed the trend of the last quarter of 2016 has consolidated itself.

This initiative was aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship between all the members of the Colorker family while also thanking them for the value and effort they have contributed to the company over all these years. The day was full of laughter and games, including different ongoing activities: ranging from workshops to magic shows, including a play centre and children´s entertainment for the little ones and virtual reality tents for the adults. Everything prepared was finished off with a spectacular giant paella and guided visits of the factory “through the looking glass” with characters from Alice in Wonderland as actors along the route.

These have been 30 exciting years and we celebrated in the best way possible, thanks to all the families that participated in the event and made it unforgettable.
